Parks Staff recommends approval, with the following conditions:
 
1.      Aldermanic notification. (1st District)
2.      Organizers will arrange an on-site meeting at least one week before the event with Lisa Laschinger, the West Parks Maintenance Supervisor and agree to any  recommendations she may make.
3.      The Hurling Club will provide a certificate of insurance covering this event and naming the City of Madison as "additional insured".
4.      The Hurling Club will post a $1,000 damage deposit with the Park Office shortly before the event, and acknowledges it will be responsible for any damage to the park that is caused by this event.
5.      The Hurling Club understands that no permanent marking of streets, paths, or sidewalks will be allowed - chalk may be used, but not spray paint or spray chalk.
6.      Fees will be paid and insurance will be on file at least one week before the event.
7.      No tents or structures will be set up in the park; nothing will be sold; no vehicles will park or drive on the grass; there will be no amplified sound.
8.      Organizers will follow the safety, security, and clean-up plans they have submitted.
9.      The Hurling Club will follow the recommendations of Parks Staff  and will cancel or postpone this event in case of bad weather or wet and muddy trails.
