DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance allows the public to possess sugar gliders.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (g) of Subsection (1) entitled "Definitions" of Section 23.49 entitled "Possession of Exotic or Wild Animals" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
"(g) Marsupials (kangaroos, opossums) except sugar gliders;
