Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a contract with SCS BT Squared for the purpose of providing professional services to design and manage the environmental cleanup of the property known as 800 East Washington Avenue (aka the former Don Miller Car Dealership). (2nd AD)
Body
WHEREAS, the City owns the property at 800 East Washington Avenue, known as the former Don Miller Car Dealership, and;
WHEREAS, the property has environmental contamination and the City wishes to conduct environmental remediation and make the property available for redevelopment, and;
WHEREAS, the City has received grants of $400,000 from the US EPA and $400,000 from the WDNR to conduct this environmental remediation, and;
WHEREAS, the City has solicited proposals from consulting firms to design and manage the required environmental remediation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract with SCS BT Squared for the purpose of providing professional services to design and manage the environmental cleanup of the property known as 800 East Washington Avenue (aka the former Don Miller Car Dealership).
