Authorizing the grant of a Private Water Service Lateral Easement to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System across a portion of a City Engineering Storm Water utility parcel located at 2009 Hawk's Ridge Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System (the "University") has requested a private water service lateral easement to construct and maintain a private water lateral and associated improvements (the "Facilities") to serve the new University Ridge Golf Course practice facility; and
 
WHEREAS, the private water service lateral easement (the "Easement") is to be located in a portion of a City Engineering Storm Water Utility parcel located at 2009 Hawk's Ridge Drive, aka, Outlot 1 of Hawk's Ridge Estates, said parcel being reserved for storm water management purposes; and
 
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Division staff have reviewed and approve of the granting of the Easement related to the following projects:  Engineering (ENGR) 53B2304 & Office of Real Estate Services (ORES) 9895.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Private Water Service Lateral Easement to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System across a portion of a City Engineering Storm Water Utility parcel located at 2009 Hawk's Ridge Drive, as depicted on Exhibit A and legally described as follows:  
 
PART OF OUTLOT 1, HAWKS RIDGE ESTATES, LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER, SECTION 04, T06N, R08E, CITY OF MADISON, DANE COUNTY, WISCONSIN, more fully described as follows:
 
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Outlot 1; thence North 34 degrees 54 minutes 26 seconds East along a westerly line of said Outlot 1, 213.97 feet to the northeast corner of Lot 30, Hawks Ridge Estates; thence North 64 degrees 25 minutes 04 seconds West along a southwesterly line of said Outlot 1, 134.82 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of Hawks Ridge Drive and a point on a curve; thence 10.00 feet along said curve concave Northwesterly, through a central angle of 03 degrees 13 minutes 11 seconds, having a radius of 178.00 feet, said curve having a chord direction of North 24 degrees 36 minutes 29 seconds East and a chord length of 10.00 feet; thence South 64 degrees 25 minutes 04 seconds East, 151.83 feet; thence South 34 degrees 54 minutes 26 seconds West, 216.00 feet to the south line of aforementioned Outlot 1; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes 10 seconds West, 18.35 feet to the Point of Beginning; this easement description contains 4,658 square feet.
