Body
WHEREAS  on August 7, 2012,  the Common Council approved RES-12-00583 which authorized Public Health-Madison and Dane County to accept a grant for $60,000 plus $14,696 to work on smoke-free multi-unit housing initiatives, and amended that department's budget accordingly; and
 
WHEREAS the resolution authorized a contract with the "Transform Wisconsin Fund"  administered by the Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources, but the grant agreement is actually with the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System;
 
NOW, THEREFORE,  BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County is authorized to enter into and the Director of Public Health is authorized to sign a grant agreement with the Board of Regents of the  University of Wisconsin System on behalf of the Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources for the aforementioned grant.
