Fiscal Note
The employment agreement provides for a salary based on an annualized rate of $119,478, with annual salary adjustments during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion with Council approval. The 2012 Human Resources adopted operating budget includes $115,290 for this position. The increase for the remainder of 2012 will be accommodated through management of salary savings.

Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Bradley J. Wirtz to the position of Human Resources Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wirtz,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Wirtz's appointment to the position of Human Resources Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wirtz.
