The City of Madison will be extending fiber conduit (Sherman Ave/Aberg Ave, Huxley St/Metro N Transfer Point and Aberg/Huxley/Packers) in the City of Madison beginning in May and ending in June.

There will be a public hearing before the City of Madison Board of Public Works on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 5:30 pm in Room 108 of the City County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Madison, WI.
 
Contractors, hired by the City of Madison, will bury the new conduit within the right of way, under the sidewalk and in the grass terrace, at the following locations:
 
• Installation of the conduit will begin at the intersection of Sherman Avenue and Aberg Avenue running east on the south side of Aberg Avenue.
 
• The installation will also include conduit installation from the intersection of Huxley Street and Aberg Avenue south on the east side of Huxley Street to the Metro North Transfer Point.
 
• Installation of the conduit will continue east on Aberg Avenue from the Huxley Street and Aberg Avenue intersection to the intersection of Packers Avenue and Aberg Avenue.
 
 
Restoration of any damage within the limits of the project, in the right of way, will be restored in accordance with the City of Madison standard specifications.
