Commending and thanking Alderperson Lauren Cnare for her dedicated and conscientious service during her tenure as President of the Madison Common Council.
Body
WHEREAS, Alderperson Lauren Cnare was elected by her peers to the office of President of the Madison Common Council on April 19, 2011 for the 2011-2012 term; and,

WHEREAS, Alderperson Cnare met weekly with Mayor Paul Soglin, his staff and Council President Pro Tem Shiva Bidar-Sielaff to actively discuss important and pressing city issues; and,

WHEREAS, during her term as Common Council President, Alderperson Cnare served as chair of the Common Council Organizational Committee and served on the Board of Estimates, City-County Liaison Committee, Jeffrey Clay Erlanger Civility in Public Discourse Award Committee, Monona Terrace Booking Event Assistance Advisory Committee and the Water Utility Board; and,

WHEREAS, during Alderperson Cnare’s tenure as Common Council President she scheduled a variety of discussions, briefings and informational presentations for the members of the Common Council:
