Fiscal Note
The projected cost for the remainder of 2012 is approximately $2,400 (or $3,300 including fringe benefits) and was not anticipated in the Police Department's Operating Budget. If sufficient funding is not available through management of salary savings, funding for this reclassification will be included in the Police Department's year-end appropriation request. The projected estimated annualized cost is $6,350 (or $8,660 including fringe benefits).

Recreate a 1.0 FTE Police Public Information Specialist (CG18-08) position, currently occupied by J. DeSpain (#4021), as a Police Public Information Specialist 2 (CG18-10) within the Police Department budget and reallocate the incumbent to the new position.

Resolution that the 1.0 FTE position of Police Public Information Specialist, #4021, in Compensation Group 18, Range 08, in the permanent salary detail of the Police Department budget is deleted and recreated as a 1.0 FTE Police Public Information Specialist 2 in Compensation Group 18, Range 10, and that the incumbent, J. DeSpain, is reallocated to the new position, thereof.
