Fiscal Note
The employment contract provides for an initial annual salary of $108,000, which is available within the 2012 Streets Division Adopted Operating Budget. Annual pay adjustments may be made by the Mayor, with Council approval, in accordance with the established managerial pay plan.

Submitting the appointment of Christopher M. Kelley for confirmation of a five-year term as the Streets Superintendent.
Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Christopher M. Kelley to the position of Streets Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Kelley,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Kelley's appointment to the position of Streets Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk's office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Kelley.
