Title
Approving revisions to the plans and specifications for the University Avenue Reconstruction Assessment District - 2012.

PREAMBLE
WHEREAS, The City of Madison, Dane County, City of Middleton, and Village of Shorewood Hills have proposed a joint project to reconstruct University Avenue from Allen Boulevard to Segoe Road in 2012. Plans, specifications and the schedule of assessments for University Avenue Reconstruction Assessment District - 2012 were previously approved under RES-11-00675, ID No: 23196 on August 2, 2011; and,
WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications for public improvements necessary to serve the development know as University Crossing, located at 5101 University Avenue, were previously approved under RES-11-00971, ID No: 24341 on November 29, 2011; and
WHEREAS, as a result of combining the designs for the two projects, it has been determined that certain changes to the geometrics for the University Avenue Reconstruction Project would improve access to adjacent properties and the traveling public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the revisions to the Plans and Specifications for the University Avenue Reconstruction Assessment District - 2012 are hereby approved.
