The cost of the maintenance contract is $94,900 and funding is provided for in the 2012 adopted operating budget (Purchased Services/Telephone Regular).
Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute maintenance contracts as needed for Cisco hardware and software support and maintenance services.
Body
WHEREAS, Information Technology currently uses Cisco hardware and software products for enterprise voice and data communications on the City network; and
WHEREAS, support and maintenance services funding is provided for each year as part of the adopted operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the 2012 SmartNet renewal cost through Netech is $94,900; and
WHEREAS, the total contract price is over $25,000, approval of the Common council is required by MGO 4.26(4)(b) and signature by the Mayor and City Clerk are required by MGO 4.26(5).
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute maintenance contract(s) as needed for the above described support services.
