Fiscal Note
This resolution deletes the old classifications of Conservation Maintenance Worker (16-9) and Conservation Parks Leadworker (20-14), and creates the new classification of Conservation Technician (16-12). Two Parks position are affected, as follows: One 1.0 FTE vacant Conservation Parks Leadworker (20-14) position will be reallocated to the new classification. Costs (including benefits) for the remainder of 2011 are estimated at $22, and annual costs for 2012 are projected at $231. One 0.8 FTE vacant Conservation Maintenance Worker position will also be reallocated to the new classification and increased to 1.0 FTE status. Costs (including benefits) for the remainder of 2011 are estimated at $635, and annual costs for 2012 are projected at $16,501. For both positions, funding for 2011 will be accommodated by the managment of salary savings. Also for both positions, funding has been included in the 2012 Requested and Executive Operating Budgets in anticipation of these reclassifications.

Resolution that the classifications of "Conservation Maintenance Worker" in CG16, Range 9 and "Conservation Parks Leadworker" in CG20, Range 14 are deleted and a new classification of "Conservation Technician" is created in CG16, Range 12.
Be it further resolved that vacant position #1513 and vacant position #1461, currently classified as Conservation Parks Leadworker and Conservation Maintenance Worker, respectively, are deleted and recreated as Conservation Technicians; and position #1461 is increased from 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE, all in the Parks Division budget, thereof.
