Fiscal Note
This resolution restores the Public Works General Foreperson position deleted on April 1, 2011 as required by the 2011 Adopted Operating Budget (see page 95, highlight #2). Nine months of salary savings were anticipated in 2011, amounting to $42,632. Approximately $24,725 would be required to fund the position for the remainder of the year 2011. As funding is not available within the 2011 Engineering Operating Budget, this amount will be accommodated by an appropriation from the Contingent Reserve. Full year funding has been requested for 2012 as part of the 2012 Engineering Requested Operating Budget.

Whereas, this resolution creates a 1.0 FTE position of Public Works General Foreperson, Compensation Group 18, Range 07, in the Engineering Division budget thereof;
Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the 2011 Engineering Division Operating Budget is amended by the creation of the FTE, and
Be It Further Resolved that $24,725 is appropriated from the Contingent Reserve to the Engineering Division for the support of this position.
