Funding for the salary and benefits for the position (created in the 2011 adopted operating budget effective July, 2011) is included in the 2011 adopted operating budget of the Community Development Division.  No addtional appropriation is required.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      Subdivision (b) of Subsection (1) of Section 3.54 entitled "Compensation Plan" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by creating the classification of Grant Writer in Compensation Group 18, Range 8, thereof.
