Fiscal Note

The 2011 Adopted Operating Budget contains $99,440 of funding for the City Assessor position.  The new contact calls for an initial annualized salary rate of $102,248.45.  The 2011 funding gap will be covered by the management of salary savings, and the new rate will be included in the 2012 Operating Budget Request.  No additional appropriation is necessary at the present time.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Mark E. Hanson to the position of City Assessor and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hanson.

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Hanson's appointment to the position of City Assessor is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hanson.
