Fiscal Note

The 2011 Adopted Operating Budget contains $80,166 of funding for the City Clerk position.  The new contact calls for an initial annualized salary rate of $85,028.  The funding gap will be covered by the management of salary savings, if possible.  No additional appropriation is necessary at the present time.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Maribeth L. Witzel-Behl to the position of City Clerk and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Witzel-Behl

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Witzel-Behl's appointment to the position of City Clerk is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerks office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Witzel-Behl.
