The State's Petroleum Environmental Cleanup Fund Act (PECFA) shall reimburse for this project at the approved rate of $47/ton and the reimbursement shall be deposited into CL60-73254-810625

PREAMBLE:  
As part of the proposed Central Park, the City acquired 211 S. Brearly St.  The property was a former bulk oil storage facility and is still undergoing remediation.  The property is enrolled in the State's Petroleum Environmental Cleanup Fund Act (PECFA), and to date has received $370,500 in reimbursed costs.  The WDNR has approved a final scope of remediation work that includes the excavation of an additional 600 tons of material from the site.  PECFA will reimburse at $47 a ton of material removed.
 
 
BE IT RESOLVED:
 
1.      That the plans and specifications for 211 S. Brearly Street Remediation, be and are hereby approved.
 
2.      That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
