DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  Several Cooperative Plans between the City and adjacent municipalities allow limited land divisions in the non-City lands covered by these plans to occur without regulation under the City's land division ordinances.  This ordinance amendment recognizes this exception.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

      1.      New Paragraph 5. of Subdivision (f) entitled "Exceptions" of Subsection (3) entitled "General Requirements" of Section 16.23 entitled "Land Subdivision Regulations" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:

"5.      Qualifying land divisions set forth in Cooperative Plans."

      2.      Current Paragraph 5. of Subdivision (f) entitled "Exceptions" of Subsection (3) entitled "General Requirements" of Section 16.23 entitled "Land Subdivision Regulations" of the Madison General Ordinances is renumbered to 6.
