Under terms of the agreement, the Lessee will pay the daily lake access fee of $8.00 for each day a launch site is used.

PREAMBLE
Deano Dock and Lift, LLC. Is a marine contracting company that services private docks and piers in the Madison area from Lakes Mendota and Monona.  In order to perform those services the company must put its barge(s) in the water using a lake access site.  It is necessary for the barge(s) to remain in the water overnight while some of the work is performed.  Deano Dock and Lift LLC. has requested the right to dock its barge(s) at one of three locations on the Madison lakes at either Marshall, Warner and/or Olin Parks and is interested in formalizing the agreement to allow this company to access and remain in the water at city locations for short periods of time at locations within those parks as agreed with the Parks Division.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into a one (1) year Lease Agreement between the City of Madison and Deano Dock and Lift, LLC. subject to the terms and conditions contained in the Lease Agreement.  
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all such agreements shall be in a form approved by the Risk Manager and the City Attorney.
