PREAMBLE

The City of Madison is proposing to under ground the overhead utility lines on East Dayton Street from Wisconsin Avenue to North Hamilton Street and North Webster Street from East Miffllin Street to East Washington Avenue.  MG&E, and Charter Communications will under ground their overhead lines and the existing poles will be removed. The City of Madison will fund the cost to under ground the facilities.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with MG&E and Charter Communications for the under grounding of overhead utilities on East Dayton Street and North Webster Street.
