Fiscal Note
This new labor agreement incorporates the wage and benefit provisions currently provided to Library Pages under City ordinances and includes a 3% wage increase in December of 2011 which will result in additional annual costs of approximately $48,000 beginning in 2012 and an additional 2% increase at the end of 2012 and will result in additional annual costs of approximately $32,000 beginning in 2013. Funds are available in the 2011 budget to cover current year costs.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
The Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and the Dane County, Wisconsin Municipal Employees Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO Library Pages from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2012 is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement. This is in accordance with the bargaining agreements entered into with all other units.
