The cost to double-fill this position is $2,012 (or $2,867 including benefits) for each bi-weekly pay period. The amount of the City's subsidy to the Overture Center will not change as a result of this double-fill.

Authorizing the double-fill of an Advertising Specialist 2 at the Overture Center.
Body
WHEREAS, the complexities involved in the consideration of the structure of the Overture Foundation, including human resources issues regarding which positions would remain City positions and which would not; and
WHEREAS, considerations such as these were ongoing and lengthened past the time when Overture's personnel budget was established; and
WHEREAS, MGO Section 3.53(6)(h) states: "The Human Resources Director, with the approval of the Mayor and the Common Council if the action requires the expenditure of more than $2,000.00 and/or is for longer than thirty (30) days, is authorized to double-fill any position for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) calendar days unless such period is extended by action of the Common Council";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council approves a double-fill in the position of Overture Advertising Specialist 2 to exceed forty-five (45) days.
