Steve Shulfer of Shulfer Architects appealing IBC 507.5. The rule requires that there be 40 feet to the property line for an unlimited area building. The Variance requested is to allow an addition to the existing building with a 30 foot distance to the property line. The addition would follow the existing geometry of the building. The Madison Fire Department supports the Variance.
