Fiscal Note
The Ordinance modifies a number of weights and measures fees, the revenues of which are recognized as City General Fund revenues. The 2011 Adopted Operating budget (under General Fund Revenues: License and Permits/Weights And Measures Permits) includes additional revenues of $32,125 associated with these fee increases.

Amending Section 22.20(3) of the Madison General Ordinances to increase various weights and measures fees and create a fee for Farmers Market scale.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance increases certain fees for weights and measures and creates a fee for Farmers Market scales. The fee increases proposed in this ordinance were anticipated by the 2011 budget approved by the Common Council.
