Fiscal Note
This employment agreement establishes an annual initial year's salary of $105,000, which is less than the amount included in the 2011 Monona Terrace Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor's discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Submitting the name of Gregg McManners for confirmation of a five-year term as Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center Director.

Whereas, following a national search for the replacement of retiring Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center ( Monona Terrace)
Jim Hess, the Mayor has appointed Gregg McManners to the position of Monona Terrace Director;
Whereas, the Monona Terrace Board of Directors supports the appointment of Mr. McManners to the position of Monona Terrace Director; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. McManners;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that Mr. McManners' appointment to the position of Monona Terrace Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. McManners.
