Fiscal Note

The contract provides for an annual salary of $107,673, effective January 17, 2011.  The DCR adopted 2011 operating budget includes funding of $102,420 for the position, or about $5,200 less than the contract amount.  DCR will accommodate the difference by managing its salary savings.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Lucia Nunez to the position of Civil Rights Department Director and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Nunez,

NOW, THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Nunez appointment to the position of Civil Rights Department Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Nunez.
