The 2011 Parks Division Executive Operating Budget as recommended by the Board of Estimates includes funding of $27,500 for this contract. No additional appropriation is required.
Title
Authorizing a contract between the City and the Madison Metropolitan School District for the provision of programming by Madison School and Community Recreation at Warner Park Community and Recreation Center for 2011. (AD#12)
Body
WHEREAS, the City has hired the Madison School and Community Recreation (MSCR) section of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) to provide recreation programs in the Warner Park Community and Recreation Center (WPCRC) since WPCRC's opening; and
WHEREAS, the affiliation has been beneficial and the City wishes to continue having MSCR provide programming in 2011 to persons utilizing the WPCRC facility.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City with MMSD for the provision of recreational service programs at WPCRC for 2011.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That all such agreements shall be in a form approved by the Risk Manager and the City Attorney.
