Fiscal Note
This resolution amends the Streets Division 2010 Capital Budget by increasing budgetary authority in the Streets Facility Upgrades project by $20,420, funded by a transfer from the Streets Division Buildings and Grounds capital project.

Title
Amending the 2010 Capital Budget of the Streets Division to fund additional costs for the Streets Facility Upgrades Capital project.
Body
WHEREAS the Streets Division has funding $167,500 in the 2010 budget for various facilities upgrades including funding to replace the radiant heaters in the vehicles bays at both the Badger Road and Sycamore Avenue locations; and
WHEREAS the bids to replace the radiant heaters at Streets Facilities were opened on August 27, 2010; and
WHEREAS the low bid was Thermo Dynamics (Cardinal Ridge Investments, Inc) at $174,000; and
WHEREAS a contingency of $13,920 yields a total project cost of $187,920; and
WHEREAS the Streets Division Buildings and Grounds Capital Project (810407) has funding available to cover this deficit.
NOW THEREFORE BE IS RESOLVED that $20,420 in available funds in the Streets Division Building and Grounds Capital Project (810407) are hereby transferred to the Streets Facility Upgrade Capital Project (810660).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2010 Capital Budget of the Streets Division is hereby amended to increase the budget authority in the Streets Facility Upgrades Capital Project by $20,420.
