PREAMBLE

The City of Madison is proposing to have conduits installed on Williamson Street from South Blount Street to South Thornton Avenue. These conduits will be used in the future for the under grounding of the overhead utilities along Williamson Street. MG&E, Charter Communications, AT&T, and US Signal will install the conduits. The City of Madison will fund the cost to install the conduits.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with MG&E, Charter Communications, AT&T and US Signal for the installation of conduits for the future under grounding of overhead utilities along Williamson Street.
