Fiscal Note
The various provisions of this agreement will result in a wage and benefit cost increase for Local 236 employees totaling roughly 0.3% over the two year term of the agreement, with no general cost of living adjustment until a 3% increase is implemented at the end of the contract term. Sufficient funds are available in the 2010 Adopted Operating Budget to fund the current year costs and have been included in the 2011 Executive Operating Budget to fund 2011 costs.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
The Labor Agreement between the City of Madison and City Employees Local 236, L.I.U.N.A., AFL-CIO from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011 is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects, and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement.
