Acknowledging and commemorating Kitty Sanders' more than 26 years of dedicated professional service in the City Comptroller's Payroll Section.
Body
WHEREAS, Kitty Sanders began her service to the City and its people in February of 1984 and will leave City service on September 3, 2010 to enjoy a busy and pleasurable retirement; and
 
WHEREAS, Kitty progressed through the ranks in the Department to the position of Payroll Technician II, processing literally thousands of payroll, deferred compensation and worker's compensation payments; and
 
WHEREAS, she has always recognized that the City's employees are its most important resource and is most proud of her commitment to accurate and timely service; and
 
WHEREAS, throughout her career, Kitty has been always ready to assist others in any way, leading by her examples of true dedication to the principles of the civil service and to citizens of Madison;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby commend Ms. Kitty Sanders for her excellent and committed service to the City, for her consistent presence as a model for all employees and for her many accomplishments as a City employee.  We wish Kitty and her family so rewarding a retirement as has been her time with the City.
