The CDA Executive Director's salary is $97,000, as per the contract. Sufficient funding for the Executive Director's salary and benefits for the remainder of 2010 is included in the 2010 adopted operating budget of the Economic Development Division (EDD) (to be transferred to the budget of the CDA Redevelopment agency). In 2011, the full funding for salary and benefits of the CDA Executive Director will be included in the CDA Redevelopment agency, subject to approval by the Common Council. (Note: The EDD 2010 budget includes $64,982 in salary for this position, plus benefits. Full annualized funding in 2011 will require an additional $32,018 for the salary, plus an additional $13,095 in benefit expense, or a total of $45,113 total additional expense.)

Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Natalie L Erdman to the position of Community Development Authority (CDA) Executive Director and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Erdman;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED, that Ms. Erdman's appointment to the position of Community Development Authority (CDA) Executive Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Erdman.
