PREAMBLE

The City of Madison and the City of Fitchburg have scheduled the resurfacing of Post Road from Fish Hatchery Road to Churchill Drive.  Bump outs and an island have been added to improve the pedestrian crossings at Leopold Elementary School and Coho Street.  The cost of the additional work is covered under the agreement with the City of Fitchburg authorized by Resolution File ID 17242 Res-10-00153, for the Resurfacing of Post Road.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to approve the plans for the geometric changes for the resurfacing of Post Road.

Fiscal Note

The cost of the additional work is covered under the agreement with the City of Fitchburg authorized by Resolution File ID 17242 Res-10-00153, for the Resurfacing of Post Road.
