Title
Authorizing the City's application to amend the Rodefeld Limited Service Area at the Rodefeld Landfill, 7102 US Highway 12 & 18, as required to provide sanitary sewer service to development in the proposed amendment area.
Body
WHEREAS on February 8, 2010 the City of Madison's Plan Commission approved an alteration to an approved planned unit development-specific implementation plan to allow construction of a combined waste transfer and household hazardous waste facility at the Rodefeld Landfill, 7102 US Highway 12 & 18 (Legistar I.D. #17310); and
WHEREAS the City's staff report to the Plan Commission noted that the property is not located within the Central Urban Service Area; and
WHEREAS Dane County, as the owner of the property, will need to have the land added to the existing limited service area which covers other parts of the landfill,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Madison Common Council hereby authorizes the City's application to amend the Rodefeld Limited Service Area to include lands at the Rodefeld Landfill as required to allow for the provision of sanitary sewer service to a combined waste transfer and household hazardous waste facility at to be constructed Rodefeld Landfill.
