Authorizing the City Comptroller to reimburse the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for installing concrete pavement on Park Street.

The City is proposing to reconstruct the intersection of University Avenue and Park Street in 2010. The State of Wisconsin Department of Administration is also planning to rebuild their steam and chilled water lines on Park St at the same time. The construction is being coordinated together. In effort to keep the construction segregated for the City and State’s contractor, the State will install a portion of Park Street between University Avenue and W. Johnson Street for the City. The State’s contractor will install the concrete pavement and the City will reimburse the State for the work. The cost is estimated at $65,000.
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized to reimburse the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for installing concrete pavement on Park Street.
