Authorizing the City Engineer to disburse $2,577.50 to Steve Schlafman for the removal of an underground storage tank (UST) from the public right- of-way at 2702 N. Todd Drive per policy established be Resolution No. 49,215 (ID No. 11,777) adopted September 1, 1992.

BE IT RESOLVED,
WHEREAS, Steve Schlafman owns the property at 2702 N. Todd Drive, and;
WHEREAS, Mr. Schlafman contracted and paid for the removal of an underground storage tank (UST) from the
public right-of-way at said property on September 2, 2009, in accordance with Comm 10 Guidelines, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Madison adopted Resolution No. 49,215 (ID No. 11,777) on September 1, 1992, establishing a policy to reimburse property owners one-half the cost of their out of pocket expenses which are not otherwise reimbursed for such UST removals, and;
WHEREAS, the total cost for said UST removal was $5,155.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Engineer is hereby authorized to disburse $2,577.50 to Steve Schlafman for one-half the cost to remove a UST from the public right-of-way at 2702 N. Todd Drive.
Fiscal Note
Funding shall be from Acct. No. CE53-54810-810374-00-53W1064; cost not to exceed $2,600.00
