Title
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute amendments to Purchase of Service Contracts with various community services agencies to increase the amount of their 2010 funding.
Body
Preamble
The adopted 2010 Operating Budget provided an increase of $100,000 in the Community Development Division budget for Community Resources programs. At the time of budget adoption, the allocation of these funds had not been determined. The budget provided that the allocation of the funds was to be made by the Community Services Committee and an allocation plan was to be submitted to the Council for its consideration. The Community Services Committee recommended that the $100,000 be allocated to agencies that currently have existing two-year contracts with the City. A listing of those agencies recommended for additional funding and the amounts of such funding per agency is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

Whereas, the Common Council authorized an additional $100,000 in funding for the Community Development Division's Community Resources programs; and

Whereas, the Community Services Committee at its meeting held March 10, 2010 recommended an allocation plan (attached) to provide the additional funding to certain community service agencies that have existing two-year contracts with the City.

Now therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute amendments to Contracts for Purchase of Services to increase the funding amounts to those agencies and in such dollar amounts as are listed on the attached allocation plan.
