PREAMBLE
The City of Madison is proposing to reconstruct Hanson Road from Manufacturers Drive to Portage Road A portion of the roadway is in the Town of Burke.
The project will be constructed under a contract let by the City and is planned for construction in the year 2010.
The City also proposes to enter into an agreement with the Town of Burke for cost sharing of the construction of the proposed project. The basis for cost sharing participation is as follows:
1) Town of Burke: The Town of Burke share shall be $57,500.00
2) City of Madison: The City of Madison shall pay all other project related costs
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the reconstruction of Hanson Road from Manufacturers Drive to Portage Road are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Burke for the reconstruction and cost sharing of Hanson Road from Manufacturers Drive to Portage Road.
