Fiscal Note
This resolution would authorize the acceptance of a United States Fish and Wildlife Service grant not to exceed $10,000. The City will provide a match of approximately $30,000. This matching funding is budgeted and available in the 2010 Adopted Parks Division Capital Budget Conservation Parks project (810401). No additional appropriation is required and there is no impact on the property tax levy.

Amending the Park Division's 2010 Capital Budget and authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to sign a Grant Agreement with the United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for habitat development at Olin-Turville Conservation Park.
Body
WHEREAS, the United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, Wisconsin Private Lands Office has awarded a grant to the City of Madison Parks Division for habitat development at Olin-Turville Park via removal of invasive brush; and
WHEREAS, under this agreement the City will use the grant funding towards removal of invasive brush at Olin-Turville Park, and will provide City funding for similar habitat development within Olin-Turville Park; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to sign, on behalf of the city, a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, which includes accepting up to $10,000 to fund the above-described services, and also includes other terms and conditions of participating in this program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2010 Parks Division Capital Budget is amended by the following amounts:
