Fiscal Note
The employment agreement provides for a salary based upon an annualized rate of $122,000, beginning on February 24, 2010. The 2010 Engineering Division Adopted Operating Budget provided salary funding of $138,670. Budgetary savings in 2010 will be used to help the Division meet salary savings requirements.

Submitting the name of Robert F Phillips for confirmation of a five-year term as City Engineer.
Body
Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Robert F Phillips to the position of City Engineer and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips;
Now, therefore, be resolved that Mr. Phillips' appointment to the position of City Engineer is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips.
