PREAMBLE

Strand is currently under contract with the City for the preparation of the design and specifications to make the necessary repairs to the Alicia Ashman pedestrian bridge over Campus Drive and the Williamson Street Bridge.  The Alicia Ashman Bridge will be painted, several railing panels will be replaced and the bridge deck will be repaired where necessary.  The Williamson Street Bridge will have the railing repaired and painted.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for Bridge Repairs - 2010 are hereby approved, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
