Fiscal Note
The estimated cost for the construction of this project is $900,000.   The 2009 Parks Capital Budget as amended (via resolution #RES-09-00013, Legistar #12425) includes $1,035,000 in funding for the Lisa Link Peace Park project.  This funding includes $650,000 from TID #32 (cash) and $385,000 in private donations.  An additional $50,000 was provided in prior years from General Obligation borrowing.  The 2010 Executive Capital Budget as recommended by the Board of Estimates includes an additional $80,000 in funding from Park Impact Fees for this project.   The total project budget is therefore $1,165,000.  Of this amount $135,000 is currently under contract for design services,  $130,000 is estimated for construction administration/contingencies and $900,000 is estimated for construction.

BE IT RESOLVED,
 
1)      That the plans and specifications for Lisa Link Peace Park, be and are hereby approved.
 
2)      That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
 
3)      That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
