PREAMBLE

The City of Madison and the Town of Verona have scheduled the resurfacing of Marty Road from Raymond Road to a High Point Road.  Marty Road Currently lies within the Town of Verona.  Marty Road is used by City Residents as interim route of South High Point Road, which will be extended from Midtown Road to Raymond Road in the future.  The street will be resurfaced with three inches of asphalt pavement under City Contract and the Town of Verona will complete the shouldering. The Town of Verona and the City of Madison will each be responsible for fifty percent of the cost to resurface Marty Road.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Verona for the resurfacing of Marty Road.
