Body

Resolution RES-07-00619 authorized the City to enter into an agreement with Vierbicher Associates, Inc. for the purchase of professional design services for the Lower Badger Mill Creek Lift Station.  During the process of design, it was determined that the specifications could be modified (rewritten) to allow additional pump manufacturers to submit bids resulting in the City receiving more competitive bids.  

In addition, it was also determined that construction administrative services may be required from Vierbicher to ensure that the Lift Station is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications.  

NOW, THEREFORE,  BE IT RESOLVED, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into  Amendment #3 to the Contract between the City of Madison and Vierbicher Associates, Inc. for additional engineering design services for the Lower Badger Mill Creek Lift Station and Forcemain.
