PREAMBLE
The State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation is proposing to improve STH 113 (Packers Avenue & Northport Drive) between First Street and Knutson Drive. The cost of the design will be funded with 25% local funds, 75% federal/state funds. Additional funding is required for Design Engineering Services of the City utilities, which is funded 100% by the City. Construction is funded 100% with federal/state funds. Utility construction is funded 100% by the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 3.61(3) of the Madison General Ordinances, the Common Council finds that the past work of MSA Professional Services, Inc. would make further solicitation of consulting services uneconomical for the City on the basis of both time and money, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc., for Design Engineering Services for City utilities on STH 113.
