Title
Accepting a Public Water Main Easement from Sherman Terrace Association, Inc., across property located at 1 Sherman Terrace.
Body
WHEREAS, in conjunction with Public Works Contract No. 6381, Sherman Terrace Condominium Water Main Replacement, the property owner, Sherman Terrace Association, Inc. (the "Owner"), has agreed to dedicate, at no cost to the City of Madison, a Public Water Main Easement across the property located at 1 Sherman Terrace; and
WHEREAS, the Owner has executed and delivered such Public Water Main Easement to the City; and
WHEREAS, City of Madison Engineering Division, Water Utility and Real Estate staff have reviewed and recommend the acceptance of the easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Madison is hereby authorized to accept from Sherman Terrace Association, Inc., at no cost to the City of Madison, a Public Water Main Easement across the easement areas described in attached Exhibit A and depicted in attached Exhibits B-1 and B-2.
