Approving revised plans for the project known as 1501 Monroe Street and authorizing construction to be undertaken by the Developer, Private Contract No. 2192. (13th AD adjacent to 5th & 10th ADs)
Body
WHEREAS, the Developer, Seeger, LLC has received the City of Madison's approval for a Permitted Use to construct a hotel located at 1501 Monroe Street, and,
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications and authorization for a maintenance agreement for Contract No. 2192 for 1501 Monroe Street have previously been approved by RES-08-010028, ID 12304, and
WHEREAS, the Developer has requested that the sidewalk be modified to include stained concrete, which will require a maintenance agreement. No other changes to the public infrastructure have been requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Developer is authorized to construct the public improvements in accordance with the terms of the Contract For the Construction of Public Improvements and the plans approved by the City Engineer.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to and directed to execute an Agreement Between the City of Madison and Seeger, LLC to Provide for the Maintenance of the Terraces Adjacent to 1501 Monroe Street, with Seeger, LLC and the City of Madison
