Amending Section 28.09(5)(f)1. of the Madison General Ordinances to modify height restrictions of buildings in C4 zoning districts located in City-owned parks when approved as a conditional use.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance allows the height exceptions to the minimum and maximum height regulations of buildings in C4 zoning districts located in City-owned parks when approved as a conditional use.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Paragraph 1. of Subdivision (f) entitled "Height Regulations" of Subsection (5) entitled "C4 Central Commercial District" of Section 28.09 entitled "Commercial Districts" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
"1. Buildings on zoning lots having street frontage on State Street shall be not less than two (2) stories nor more than four (4) stories in height, except for buildings located in City-owned parks when approved as a conditional use pursuant to Sec. 28.09(5)(d)1."
