Fiscal Note
The employment agreement provides for an annualized salary of $116,218, plus fringe benefits. The 2009 Adopted Operating Budget of the Planning Division appropriates $116,656 for the salary of the Director, plus fringe benefits. No additional appropriation is required.

Confirming the re-appointment of Bradley J. Murphy to the position of Director of the Planning Division subject to the approval and execution of a five-year employment agreement.
Body
Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has re-appointment Bradley J. Murphy to the position of Director of the Planning Division and has recommended to the Common Council that his re-appointment be confirmed; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Murphy;
Now therefore, be it resolved that Mr. Murphy's re-appointment to the position of Director of the Planning Division is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Murphy.
